    About
    What is a dental implant?
A dental implant is a fake tooth root that is fixed in your mouth to hold a new tooth, bridge, or denture in place. Implants are made of materials that are safe with body tissue, like titanium alloys and ceramics. At Implants Dentistry, this is important because we look at dentistry as a whole.
Is getting Dental Implant painful or difficult?
When implants are put in, the pain is usually less than when a tooth is pulled. Local anesthetic is used to put in most implants. Sedation is offered and is often suggested for long treatments or for people who are nervous about going to the dentist. The methods, medicines, and processes used to put in implants are meant to keep you from feeling pain or soreness. Most of the time, Ibuprofen (Advil or Motrin) is all that is needed for pain after a simple implant placement.
I have dentures right now. How can implants improve my denture fit and comfort?
Some people don't like that their dentures are removable. Instead, implants can be used to give you teeth that are fixed in place. In other situations, a person may choose to have an overdenture that can be taken out and "snaps" back into place. Both are great options. Implants Dentistry would be happy to talk to you about the pros and cons of each and help you decide which is best for you.
How long will it take to do everything?
Most people need to go to the dentist twice or three times over the course of 4 to 5 months. (Please keep in mind that every patient heals at a different rate, so the time can change.
How long do I have to wait before I can get back to my regular life?
Most of the time, you can go back to normal tasks the day after getting an implant. If you require a bigger procedure, it may take you 3 or 4 days to be able to do regular things again.
How will getting implants help me?
Dental Implant have a lot of good points. With dentures, patients can eat better and enjoy things they couldn't before. They feel better when they eat, and they don't have to use glue to keep their teeth in place. They also say that they don't feel self-conscious when they talk or laugh, and they don't worry that their teeth will fall out. In short, they feel better about themselves, which shows in their increased self-confidence and better social and work lives. With Dental Implant, you can smile, eat, sing, and talk better, and you won't lose bone mass in your mouth, which happens when you lose teeth. This can make your face look bad. Implants are well-known for their ability to stop bone loss and keep the bony structure of the face in place.
Will my implants require special care?
Normal tooth problems like cavities and sensitivity to hot and cold do not affect Dental Implant. All you need to do is brush and floss your teeth regularly and get regular checkups.
What can I eat when I have implants?
People who get implants often say that they forget they have them because they are able to chew and bite like normal. With implants, you'll be able to eat all the foods you did before, including apples, corn and steak.
    How much do they cost?
The cost of placing implants and making the cap, bridge, or denture on top of the implant varies. The cost goes up the more implants a person needs. The type of prostheses that needs to be done is another thing that affects cost. In some cases where dentures are needed, the patient's old one can be used. At your first appointment, you will find out how much the whole process will cost. All tooth implants are tax deductible.
Can I eat if I have Invisalign?
No. It's important to take your aligners out when you eat, drink, brush, floss, and, if necessary, for special events. But don't forget to put them back in when you're done, since you need to wear them 20–22 hours a day for the best effects. The good thing about having to take out your braces when you eat is that you can then eat whatever you want.
What is the difference between Invisalign and braces?
Invisalign straightens your teeth just as well as traditional metal braces, but it does so in a modern way that works well for people who like to be out and about. The clear plastic braces are almost unnoticeable, so no one has to know they are there. And unlike regular braces, they can be taken off! This lets you brush and floss your teeth without having to worry about bands getting in the way, which can lead to tooth damage. Wires and metal parts on traditional braces can poke and hurt your mouth. Invisalign is made from smooth, soft plastic. People of all ages like Invisalign because it is easy to use. Enjoy the many benefits of a better smile without changing much about how you look or feel.
How often should I clean my aligners?
To keep your teeth and braces from getting damaged, you should brush them after every meal. To do this, just use a toothbrush, toothpaste, and cold water to clean them. If the water gets too hot, it could change the shape of the plastic.
    How does Invisalign work?
Invisalign can fix a wide range of dental issues, such as teeth that are too far apart, too close together, or somewhere in between. Treatment with Invisalign starts with an assessment to see if you are a good fit and to answer any questions you may have. Some dentists and orthodontists don't use Invisalign. We are carefully trained providers who will make a treatment plan for you that is tailored to your needs. We'll start by taking x-rays and molds of your teeth to make a 3-D picture. With this, we can make a map of how your teeth will move and show you a virtual picture of how your teeth will look. A set of clear, custom-made aligners are made for you based on your individual plan. The braces are made of clear plastic that doesn't contain BPA and is easy to put on your teeth. They are smooth, so they should be easy to put on. You can take them out to brush your teeth, eat, or drink. About every two weeks, you'll get a new set of aligners to wear. This will help you reach your treatment goals faster. Every six weeks or so, you'll have a check-in at the office to make sure everything is going well.
How long should I be wearing my Invisalign?
Once your unique aligners are ready, you should wear Invisalign 20–22 hours a day. Then, every 7 to 10 days, you will need to use a new set of aligners. In general, treatment takes between 12 and 18 months, but the length of the digital plan we make for you relies on your individual goals and how often you wear your aligners. Your smile will change as each set of braces moves your teeth into place.
